Christ Calls for Spiritual Birth

In the Gospel of John, Jesus told Nicodemus, "I tell you the truth that no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit a person is born physically of human parents, but born spiritually of the Spirit. "(Jn 3: 5-6).

In his book, "decision points", George W. Bush shared a story from the summer of 1985 when Billy Graham visited the annual family trip Maine. Mr. Bush, once said one evening after dinner when her father, Dr. Graham asked if his mother (the grandmother of Bush), "very kind and religious man," was born again to go to heaven. Dr. Graham then said, 'George, some of us call it born-again experience to understand God, and some of us were born Christians. Sounds as if your mother was just born a Christian "(page 31).

Nobody is born a Christian. Billy Graham had to say to the Bush family that a person goes to heaven after his decision to believe in Jesus Christ. It would have also explained that the new spiritual birth mark our anniversary. As I said in my book "Divine Revelation: Christ's call to join the armies of heaven," my spiritual birthday is October 24, 1982.

Like many Christians, the Bush family was looking for a physical response to a spiritual problem. We have become a nation consumed by their physical desires, with less and less Christians to seek spiritual birth. Jon Meacham (no relation), have also reported April 13, 2009 issue of "Newsweek", that although 76% of Americans call themselves Christians, only 33% of Americans say they are born again. Unlike many theologians, I believe we must take the first step in a spiritual birth. Nicodemus took the first step, when he came looking for Jesus, and as a result, was the first person to be reborn. For me, it happened that morning in October 1982, when I made the first step and the tears in my eyes, fell to the ground with a shower and asked God to control my life. Then, when the water flowed into my body, the Holy Spirit and indwelled I am born again.

Most Christians in America prefer to take the first step is a physical as the Bush family, to enjoy the prosperity and visibility, then the first step in spiritual life, to understand God we are now one of the selfish desires of the nation and not a nation under God We should all heed the words of David Platt in his book "Radical: Taking Back Your Faith in the American dream," and abandon the pursuit of wealth and turn to Christ.

Jesus Christ is now calling for Christians around the world to experience a spiritual birth, to search for a rich spiritual life, to join the armies of heaven, to help fight for the reform of the church and prepare the Church for His second coming .
