Facts About Jesus Christ

The facts surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ is wonderful and amazing. What is often obscured by nostalgia or tradition. Read and study the truth.

In Luke Chapter 2, in the New Testament we read of a leader issued a decree. Everyone in the Roman Empire is to be registered. Caesar Augustus orders a census, and it involves all the heads of households - all men, people - to go to their own towns. For Joseph, which means a 80-mile journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem. Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. About 700 years earlier prophets had proclaimed that - but how to fix?

It is very difficult to organize their own birth! God uses a person more likely to have Mary and Joseph, when need be.

Mary went with Joseph. It does not need to go. Why did Mary take the long arduous journey dangerous few days before giving birth, Jesus Christ, the Son of God? Why? Well, Mary has been ostracized. If you love Joseph had left Mary of Nazareth, would not have had anyone with him. He avoided the community. This is a young pregnant girl who claimed to be a virgin would have been considered an outcast.

We are a delivery mechanism - a statement - and acceptance.Joseph knew that the living God was doing something beautiful and wonderful. They make the journey to Bethlehem - which means "house of bread" - so that the bread of life can not arise, according to the word of God

When they arrive, Joseph tries to get a room.Bethlehem is crowded - full of men who came from the census. Joseph continues to look for a room - a room where his beloved Mary could give birth to this child in particular.

At that time there were two words used in the hotel - one meant a five-star hotel - we meant the other one star. This is a one-star, where Joseph makes the investigation. All that was offered alongside the animals. It can reasonably be compared to the shelter in a pub car park. If we want to regain the real atmosphere, which is where the modern language of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of Lords, was born. It 'came down in a world like this, and was born in the courtyard.

Mary gives birth to Jesus. She took the baby and wrapped him in bands of cloth - "medical bandages" are the words used. Remember it is written by a doctor.

Doctors can be so skeptical when it comes to miracles, and God said all this, and by a physician. There has to be asked Mary a year later, because we know that Mary pondered all these questions.

"Tell me, Mary - tell me the details of the design and incarceration." How could we have this account? He must have had a wonderful bedside manner and a good listener to bring all this information of Mary .

She puts Jesus is a manger. Note - he did - no other woman there to help - no midwife to wash the baby and wrap it well and give your mother. Mary does everything in an unusual environment. We dress up the facts to make them more acceptable and respectable. God no! Neither Lucas!

Not far away, shepherds. Shepherds at that time were considered among the lowest of the low. They were confident thieves. A shepherd, was allowed to testify in court at that time. They were not credible. They were like night and guards.

However, God the Father said to the angels - "Go to the shepherds to announce the birth of my son." God wanted people to know, as we'll give you hint in the record.

God is sending you this good news from highest to lowest.

The message is simple - but crucial words are used - today - in the city of David - a Saviour is born for you - it is Christ the Lord.

And 'where David used to work and take care of the sheep and the type of Psalms. This is where a great king David was once a shepherd. Now, a little boy is a shepherd and a lamb - Good Shepherd - and the Lamb of God - that takes away the sin of the world.

Bethlehem is just six miles south of Jerusalem, and is surrounded by fields of sheep for slaughter has increased the temple of Jerusalem.

Thirty years later, the Lamb of God, the Good Shepherd, had to be killed in Jerusalem - slaughtered - crucified - He was despised and rejected of men - to take away the sins of bloodshed.

The shepherds went and found Mary and Joseph and the baby, as the angel had said. When they saw Jesus, they have around Bethlehem, and all that. They talked about what God was doing. They shared everything. They do not have to keep this, but stated openly.

Some were surprised at what the shepherds said. Some have questioned - all this be true? For many it was more than a passing interest.

Mary reveals something different. She kept all these things. He thought of all that had happened. He had what was good and true and real. For Mary, it would be everywhere in the morning. Mary's heart is filled with joy and peace. She continued to reflect on the meaning of what had happened.

A few years later it was Mary who must have told Dr. Luc these very intimate details.

For many in Bethlehem was only a passing interest. Mary, he thought, and how we see the shepherds for the last time I praise God for all they had seen and heard.

What does this passage sound familiar? Each part of the Word of God calls to the reaction and response, and our individual response is eternally important.
